Agreed. But that being said, I like the look.

Six flags.

Looks like an entrance to a theme park.

yeah if the talks of bowling the south endzone are even remotely true they wont bother replacing that scoreboard any time soon.

I don't see that happening in the near future. It looks they are going to be building a plaza outside of the SEZ according to the renderings.

I would like to see them renovate the entire stadium inside and out before they expand.

The only thing I do not like with the proposals is the goofy looking Tiger Stadium sign up top. Everyone knows what it is, don't need to plaster it up there like that.

Renderings are for outside NEZ. From the article:

quote:

The west and north sides of the stadium will receive new lighting. The north side will get new entrances including a special team entrance.

you seem confused. there are zero renderings for the south endzone.

you dont even have to read the article. look at the pictures. the south and north endzones look nothing alike. not sure how anyone could confused that for the south endzone.

I couldnt disagree more. The one they have above the North bowl is good enough. I hate those ridiculously oversized video boards (see texas, miss st).

Agree...those things are just obnoxious. Unnecessary...stay and watch it at home if you want to watch a TV

What's the Gump's problem with trees? Don't plant them, prefer to poison.

I think they should:

1. Fix up the outside as planned (Easy Fix)
2. The bleachers need some attention.
3. The food court/bathrooms areas need a bit of attention. Doesn't have to be amazing, just touch it up and add some color or something. It's kind of dull.
4. Bowl the South EZ, we can put 100k plus in that stadium consistently.
5. One thing they can never changed...the experience. Absolutely nothing like Death Valley on a Saturday night.

The bleacher of the row I was in during the 2008 Bama/LSU game broke during the game. We looked at it and you could tell where it had broken before and they had just welded it back together. Sat in the same section in 2010....once again they had simply welded it back together
