The money raised is NOT for the trees. It's to buy food for the Aubbie fans. They haven't been able to eat/work out of fear of the NCAA Camgate/Robinsongate probes. Just think Aubbies, the joke will be on you when the hammer falls. The pittance you paid Cam to play won't even pay the taxes due on his Nike contract.

I think that poisoning the tree was bullshite but the o neauxs have gotten out of hand. I will gladly threaux in $10 to plant a mature oak on the corner across from Teauxmers. I would be pissed if someone poisoned any of LSU's live oaks.

Impressive. Classy gesture.

Agreed. Sadly I've seen Auburn fans that say they don't want the cash because Alabama is making it about them. I'm like no sometimes people really do the right thing and want to make a wrong right.

Seen that as well. Stupidity at its finest.

This is a very classy effort Bama fans, I hope ESPN makes a mention of this.

the trees should not have been poisoned but this guy shouldnt do jail time for this imo either. Glad the Univ did this but dont think it was their responsibility. I wonder if the act of raising money for this will make the univ look guilty in the eyes of the nation when in reality they had nothing to do with this. Univ can not police the idiocy of a select fan when outside of its campus grounds. Classy move but may actually bite them in the end from a perception standpoint. Do Auburn fans think that their univ would raise money to replace damage done to the Deny Chimes or to the statues? I think thye would just distance themself from the fan like Alabama did with this guy.

I really don't understand the way you think. This gesture has been an EXCELLENT pr move. And yes, Auburn would do the same thing for Alabama. Some of y'all act really immature about this. I'm assuming you're really young?
