If Freeze and Beard can coach, why not?
Not sure how UK fans would feel about it, but Petino is still an elite coach. He’s still an elite scumbag also, but that doesn’t seem to matter much anymore.

I wouldn’t mind seeing him get one more shot with a big program. He’s been punished enough and deserves a shot. He’s an excellent coach but his shelf life is running out.

I’ve been saying for the last couple years Rick Pitino is the best basketball coach UK has had since Rupp. I’d take him back in a heartbeat. Everywhere he’s been, he’s won. He’d walk the line at UK.
Calipari is the better recruiter, but nowhere near the coach Pitino is.

I'd do everything I could to get him. I wanted him last year.
