A wonderful mystique with bad seats.

There is this mystique to it because everybody makes up stories about the visit since they couldn't see what the frick was going on.

And the damned 100 year old announcers remember it from their childhood and play it up.

The Rose Bowl
The most overhyped piece of shite stadium in any sport across the world that I would give my left nut to see UGA win a natty in come January.

These front row seats are amazing.

I dunno, Beaver Stadium sucks a big fat nut. At least the Rose Bowl is in California.

Are you talking about stadiums built into hills or built in a valley?
If so they are cool and beautiful, but they are small. The word I would use to describe them is "quaint"

most overhyped has to be the Super Dome... i'm sure it's cool for a saints home game or when LSU plays there, but I wasn't impressed.

You weren't alone for the millions around the world watching the super bowl being played in doors, at night, in the dark...

thats a pretty awful opinion. im not even a saints fan but saints games are full of passion.

that's why I excluded saints games b/c I've never experienced one... but as a neutral site venue, it's pretty meh...

looks like it was completed two offseasons ago, but i said last year because there has only been one season since the new renovations. guess i had my timeline off a bit.

So I guess it wasn't in the budget to upgrade the lightening system then?
Posted on 8/1/13 at 3:36 pm to DaleDenton
the lighting system was brand new im pretty sure (within 6 months i think). there are articles about why it failed. i dont really remember why, but it wasnt because it was old. from what i remember they figured out what went wrong and revamped it again. so maybe it was set up wrong the first time around.
i dont know, im not an electrical engineer.

The disagree. The dome is awesome. Its small and loud as all get out. There isn't a bad seat in the house. Even if you sit in the very last row (I did for the Saints/ATL MNF game) the seats are great. Go sit in the upper deck of any other stadium and you feel like you are in another zip code
