A lot of good stuff in your post until Saban.

You are talking about the GOAT and a one loss season. He is a little older, but if you watched the presser afterwards he was in control of the facts, was crisp and clearly knew where he, his coaches and players screwed up. To me, his game and post game demeanor was of a coach that knew he was beat.

We are used to him yelling and screaming, but he just seemed resigned to the fact that they weren’t gonna win that game. Got to see more deterioration in his teams before I would call for his retirement. Hell, he has more than earned it.

This reeks of alter troll. Zero chance any Bama “fan” could ever truly feel this way

Just did that trip in reverse. SFO. Drove by Stanford. Drove PCH all the way down to LA. Took about 10 days to do it. Santa Barbra is my new retirement destination. That or Malibu.

California has an embarrassment of natural riches. Too bad full of nitcakes. Still, I dig the vibe.

Really loved LA —- surprisingly. Stayed at Bev Hills Hilton. Place is crazy nice.

I feel like I've waded into a NorCal/SoCal feud here.

The thing I took from game was that Clemson was the best team and it wasn’t close. No butthurt meant at all. They were def best team on field last night.

Saban's was outcoached. Not in the sense that he didn't know what the opponent was doing- but in the sense that he wasn't able to prepare his own team for what he could see.

He seemed practically eager to tell the reporter going into halftime that Clemson was doing copycat stuff and Bama was making too many mistakes. But the problems for Alabama were deeper. They could move the ball between the 20s but Clemson stopped them in the red zone whereas Bama was unable to return the favor.

Mentally I don't think either Saban or his team showed up with the right preparation or ability to adjust.

The Stadium looked pretty full except for the top corners, but with the seats being red and fans wearing Red, it was hard to tell.

Stadium was basically full halfway through the first. Even bunch of locals in the standing room only areas.

Split at actual game time was 50/50. But definitely seemed like more Clemson fans around town.

We flew into Oakland and drove down the PCH to Big Sur for a few days. Then 3 days up here in San Francisco.

Other than the game been a good trip

You should gracefully exit the Alabama fan base. That is just assinine. 1 loss in a NCgame where it just wasn't Bama night and you want Saban to retire. You're a fricking idiot .
Seriously, if you have a diploma from Bama, please send it back, renounce you habe ever been affiliated with The University and gracefully exit the Bama fan base.

I live in California and Santa Barbara is absolutely incredible. It might be my favorite place in this state which says a lot. It’s so ridiculously expensive there, though.

Yeah, the 14-0 record before the title game and people calling them the best team ever was a complete failure. Dabo is a better game day coach, but let's not act like Saban's process is not still better than 99% of the other coaches.
