If it is a heart problem or the cyst on his brain that some are reporting, then this is a serious issue. He is one of the great minds in college football and I hope he finds peace on this issue.

From a Vol fan, our prayers are with Meyer. I want to beat the man on the field, and wish him a speedy recovery from his ails.

I like that you care.
You are a very caring person.
I wish more people cared.
We are the world.
We are the children.
I'd like to buy the world a coke.

You are an exceedingly beautiful and gracious woman, Mardigrarita !

There is just so much love on this thread.
Let's hold hands and walk through a meadow towards the rainbow !
All of us.
For Coach Urban !
Do it for the children.

I hope its not serious and he will be able to return to coaching soon. Too young and good of a coach to not be standing on the sidelines somewhere.

Back at cha, Pimp!!

Call me jaded, but me thinks there might be more to this than a "health problem".

You would have to be a real arse to be making fun of Meyer in this situation. Good luck to him and his family.

I'm not making fun of Meyer, a-hole...I'm amused by the lovefest going on by those on the Rant who hated his guts as recently as this morning.

Also, I think time will tell more about all the factors behind his sudden decision...check back with me in a month or two, when more of the story is known... In the meantime,

If his health problem is not life threatening, as is now being reported, he may resurface in some other coaching capacity somewhere.
