I follow John Andrew Prime on FB...he is a former longtime reporter for the Shreveport times, a local historian and was one of the members of the committee tasked with gathering public opinion. He has done exhaustive research on the issue and has stated the DAC definitely owns the land and would prevail if the issue is taken to court...

Actually I think the anti-monument people are the ones who are not able to prove the parish owns the small parcel of land where the monument sits...they think if they repeat enough the lie/fake news that the DAC doesn't own it, the populace will believe them...classic Alinsky "rules for radicals".

Actually, it seems as if all Southern cities are experiencing similar violent incidents...Shreveport is going nuts currently, and from what I gather so is Baton Rouge and we all know the NOLA narrative...my question is why now? It was cold and wet for the LSU/Notre Dame game a year after the LSU/Michigan State game in 1995...I believe the LSU/Michigan State game was cold but clear...could you be confusing the two games?

Are different game options offered in different areas? We have Direct TV, used the directions from page one of this thread, and successfully found the options of the games, LSU/SLU is not offered...also, looked on my WatchESPN ap on my phone and computer and it's not offered on either...is it because I live in Shreveport? I know...please skip the Shreveport jokes for now...LOL TIA!!!

I suspect this is more about Glover wanting to stay relevant...he was a state representative, then mayor of Shreveport for two terms and now is back in the legislature.
