your overall point is sound, but come on

-10 on reading comprehension...he was saying he could start at RB/WR.
I didn't want this to be a Brady vs Johnson thread, but c'mon. Are you really defending Brady? He was really, really bad. Descent recruiter, but just awful coach. Would JB have won the SEC last year? I personally don't think so.
I think it was lazy hire in the first place.

Okay...and this means what?

The new facility should help. In the last decade we've gotten some big names. Hopefully that 2012 class is kind to us.

I hope so. LSU basketball is what really sealed the deal for me growing up to becoming a Tiger fan. My first game I ever watched in person was a Shaq led LSU squad against Auburn in the PMAC. He was a man amongst boys out there, he had 11 blocks in that game.
Yeah, but while Bertman was winning all those games in the 90's, Jackson, and Shaq were playing up the street in the DEAF DOME. It's definitely not a priority thing, well at least it used to not be.
Well, he did it at Memphis too.

Why don't top basketball players...

seem to want to play for LSU lately? I know there are some solid players coming in next year, but really no one that's expected to set the world on fire. Why is it Calipari can get seemingly anyone he wants to come play for him? Is this just a facilities thing?
LSU would be a butter face chick with results like that. From a distance, everything is nice. Nice tits, nice thin waist, nice legs, and nice arse. When you really get a close up look, shes still got all those nice things, but you realize she's got a face full of pitted acne scars.

It's well documented that Les had a lobotomy on 11/20/2009.

Talking to a guy at my gym tonight...

he was more or less a stranger, just seen him a few times around there. Anyhow, he was sporting a new Moo State shirt, and I asked him if was feeling relieved today about Meyer's decision to "stay". He said he was relieved, but this is what really stung. This guy has no idea I follow LSU sports, and his reply was as follows, "Well, whatever happens I at least know we won't have Les Miles coaching our team." I just sorta chuckled under my breath, and died on the inside a little bit. :(
God damn, Florida gets all the breaks.

I'm not sure what that means either. What is our reality? Are you saying the past 20+ years have been a fluke? I know we had a hiccup with Zook, but even that failure resulted in 5 loss seasons, I am sure most schools wish their low point in the past 30 years was a 5 loss season.

Not a fluke at all, but you won't be nearly as good without Tebow. I mean, look how much your team missed Mullen and Harvin. Another good assistant, and a coordinator gone along with Tebow Christ. "Reality" for you will be 2-3 loss seasons along with the rest of the SEC. Not saying you're going to suck by any means, you're right, you've got too much in-state talent, money and interest. But, to say that youre going to be a BETTER team without Strong and Tebow is just silly.

I using my Christmas wish on this.
Dude, Mississippi Dining and Leisure Magazine voted the Rebels #1 for 8 straight years. Deal with it, they are #1.
I wonder if these assistants can sense the imminent return back to reality for the UF program. Its been cruising at a pretty high level with Tebow and others on D for some time, and in CFB its nearly impossible to maintain that stride for more than a few years. I'm betting these guys are moving on while they are still seen as being valuable coaches on a championship caliber team, instead of waiting until they are thought of as rats abandoning a sinking ship...you know striking while the iron is hot and all that.
I'll gladly take two off your hands at face value if you buy my plane ticket to Orlando :)
