Ohio State fired him?

So why wasn't Schiano ever implicated in a lawsuit, where the standard of proof is much lower than for a crime?

Victims of child rape often don't want to come forward. They wouldn't have known who Greg Schiano was, so they probably don't even remember who saw and who didn't.

If you're gonna ask hypotheticals, why did no one ever hire a great DC in Sandusky to be their HC? Did other ADs know or hear rumours?

Why would Mike McQuery have ever mentioned Schiano's name if it wasn't the truth? What would he have to gain from that?

If any program deserved the DEATH PENALTY ... it was Penn State ... and Sandusky literally deserves the DEATH PENALTY.

frick Pedo State forever, and I really DGAF that anyone associated with Pedo State during that time gets hit with shrapnel, misfortune, etc.

And for the people who defend harming children ... I hope you die, too.

We don't agree on much, but on this, I'm with you 100%

Nah Tennessee dodged a bullet with a DC that gives up 50+ to Iowa

I agree, PSU should've been abolished. But we all know the real reason they're mad, his name isn't Gruden, Mullen, Norvell, etc.. PSU ordeal was mainly a scapegoat, it worked but it's going to cost them. If Schiano was a top 10 coach with multiple conference and a national championship, nobody would've batted an eye.

McQuery was repeating what someone else told him not something he saw with his own eyes.

Schiano is the best Tennessee could do. Now, they're completely fricked.

Were they disappointed? Yes. Did they go looking for baggage because of that? Maybe.

That doesn't make them wrong for not wanting him at their university. They did find some serious baggage.

I know and just that is enough that I wouldn't want the guy anywhere near my football program.

Find maybe isn't the best word. Emphasize maybe.

You get what I'm saying though.

That’s probably part of it. But you have an AD acting unilaterally instead of building a consensus. Maybe he’s doing that because it’s impossible to build a consensus. But that’s not as fun for us to debate.

You serious? He's a scumbag, and was looking to point the finger at anyone else.

All the shite-talking aside ... I would be hopeful that the SEC fan-base could unite and say we don't want ANYTHING remotely tied to that atrocity at any SEC school.

Too bad, Schiano ... go to the fricking MAC, PAC-12, or some other B1G school.

Anyone associated with PSU during that era ... stay the frick away.

I am thankful that UTk dodged this bullet...and certain folks in Knoxville should be held accountable.

We cannot have Tenn is its current state ... it's bad for the brand.

And, to be fair, VOL Nation deserves better.

I was pissed (and still am) about the O hire ... but that's nothing compared to this.

Really?

If you saw that shite, you'd tell your boss and then just let it go from there?

He's also a liar. Most of what he's done since this came out has been to push blame off on anyone else. He's the worst of anyone that knew.

Because telling Joe Pa isn’t telling the police.
