Really good, very well edited too.

A lot IMO. No real money advantage over anyone anymore with the drastic increase in SEC revenue since 2014, so higher payouts for all. 2 schools within recruiting grounds join the SEC over the last decade. Oklahoma schools have been successful. Texas is decent again. Still little in-state SEC talent. A coach that seemed to have stopped recruiting, followed by a hire that resulted in the program hitting an all time low.
Aside from NWA being a really nice location, which most adults aren't even aware of, much less a teenager (if they even care) - there's little going for us.

Noticed in the 24/7 VT thread a post by CZYHOKIE saying "He hasn't seriously considered it fwiw", with 61 upvotes. At least one other poster replied something along the lines of "that's worth a lot", so kinda made it seem like the guy is known for being reliable.

A simple offense results in the most impressive drive of the year with a freshman QB.
A complex offense with veterans at QB hasn't worked out since he's been here.
Which is the real problem? Complex doesn't always mean better, and it's not like you're fooling anyone with your complicated plays in this league.
Give KJ 10 solid plays and tell him to have fun, not like we have anything to lose.

These buyouts are crazy. It's not like anyone else was looking to hire Morris and we had to fight to get the guy. There might be 5 coaches in CFB worth a buyout, the rest seem pretty replaceable.
We're in the Top 5

Seemed like most of your average, every day people didn't know the SEC tourney was here. Seems like everyone knew the PGA Championship was here.

Do I like it? No. Do I think it's anything more than a big publicity stunt? No. However, as long as their actions are within the laws of this country it is their right to do as they wish during the national anthem. Agree with it or not, you, I, and many others served to defend that right among other rights that we may not agree with.
I'm in my late 20's, most of the other vets I've spoken to about this are as well. Not to make assumptions but if those you're speaking to are at the VA, VFW and American Legion I'm guessing the majority of those vets are from a different generation, where I can see how views could differ.

As a vet I share the same opinion with every other vet I've spoken to about this.. I really couldn't care less what you do during the national anthem, if you want to kneel in protest you have the right to do so, due to the men and women who serve in order to keep your attention whoring and "oppressed" self, free.

Turned it off in fear that it was going to break my TV.
re: Why do people like LSU fans so much?

I'll go to war for anyone that'll make me a pot of gumbo.
re: Herbstreit and Kanell twitter argument over Bama selection

Dumb. OSU probably pulls better ratings than any of the 4 teams in.
re: Big 10 fans crying they didn’t get a team in the playofs
Posted by nope on 12/3/17 at 3:20 pm
I strolled through the OSU forums earlier expecting to see a bunch of whining about the SEC. Half were crying, the other half said the team didn't deserve it after the Iowa blowout. Was surprised some of their fans are realistic.

I agree, PSU should've been abolished. But we all know the real reason they're mad, his name isn't Gruden, Mullen, Norvell, etc.. PSU ordeal was mainly a scapegoat, it worked but it's going to cost them. If Schiano was a top 10 coach with multiple conference and a national championship, nobody would've batted an eye.
re: Luke will be named permanent HC soon

Smart move. Dream job for him no matter the circumstances, give him a room to sleep in, a cot and minimum wage and he'll still out-work any other coach they would've hired.
re: After paying Schiano any money left to fix scoeboard?
Posted by nope on 11/26/17 at 8:01 pm
Don't think they'll care to keep score at UT for a long long time.
re: Vote: More Embarrassing: UF fans saying Kelly was a done deal or UT/Schiano ordeal

To give Gatorbait some credit, he came back with the same username knowing he'll be laughed at for eternity. I would've came back with an alter for my alter for my other alter if I goofed that bad.
re: Who is Arkansas going to hire?
Posted by nope on 11/24/17 at 6:04 pm
Norvell or Gus.
re: Random idea for CFP

I'm not seeing these teams getting blown out every year in their bowl games against top P5 teams. Western Michigan lost by 8 to a team that will may be in the playoffs this year, Houston over FSU in 2015, Boise St over AZ in 2014, UCF over Baylor in 2013..
re: Ark fans, look at Wisky rolling along under Chryst(and Anderson)..it ain't Bert's fault!

I'll play. More in-state talent(especially their big guys) and recruit very well on the east coast, Midwest and even the southeast.
Any coach can put a lock on most of the in-state talent we have here, but we need someone that can pull top guys from TX to succeed long term.
"At the Texas high school coaches convention this summer, he said, 'If you don't play with a fullback, we'll kick your arse. If you throw it 70 times a game, we'll kick your arse.' He just got his arse kicked twice in a row, and probably next week by A&M, as well."
...Bert sure knows how to make an impression in Texas. Guy is a clown that has BS'd his way through everything. Alvarez ran that team.
