I haven't followed national recruiting much, so I don't in comparison, but Stephon Tuitt's and Aaron Lynch's were pretty weird.

Lynch was committed to ND for awhile (he also laid his grandfather's ashes on ND Stadium). After the Tulsa loss, he decommitted saying he no longer felt comfortable in the 3-4 defense as his reason (um... OK). He then committed to Florida State. Randomly in January something went wrong with Florida State, and he decommitted from them. He took his official then to ND in mid-January. Three days later he's enrolled in classes (and living in my dorm ). There's a lot of rumors that FSU lied to him and did negative recruiting. His mom was also big on the message boards/facebook and was doing a lot of talking. It was just kind of bizarre.

Tuitt was committed to ND for awhile. In mid-January, rumors started coming around that he was visiting GT, and a few of his HS teammates were going there to play, and that GT was in the running (even though he had been recruiting guys like Lynch to ND at the AA game). He then took his official to GT, and decommitted and committed to GT. The next day, Kelly had his in-home with Tuitt, and 30 hours after committing to GT, he was back and committed to ND. His mom then came out and made some pretty blunt statements about how his recruitment was now over, and that he was going to ND. This got a lot of GT people upset, and they think his mom basically forced him to go to ND, while he wanted GT. Again, just kind of weird, but I don't know how it compares on the national scale.

I think the whole process has gotten out of hand. We're going to see more and more of this kind of weirdness in the future.

I'm starting to miss the days when recruiting was barely mentioned in the papers, and you never heard of 90% of the players on your favorite college team until they actually started showing up on the field during games.

Spencer Region, no contest. And the ironic thing is that he's probably the worst of any of the players mentioned in this thread. What a diva.

Supposedly Clemson, but I wouldn't be surprised if he sent his LOI to Alaska for a quintriple-fakeout.

I think if they would allow an early signing period alot of this drama would disappear.

Region at least pulled his antics an entire year ago.

The kids (or meddlesome parents) who pull this crap at the 11th hour are the ones who really make you pull your hair out.

Plus, since every school is only allowed 25 enrollees and space is tight, what these kids don't realize is their selfish b.s. is basically screwing someone else over.

I always feel bad for these two star kids who have been told to wait by the phone on signing day in case a spot opens up for them. That must suck for them to have to watch this dog and pony show.

I don't think I've ever seen a guy commit live on NSD and decommit.

I think Cyrus's was the craziest.

Calloway's had the most shite dripping off of it.

Spencer Region was crazy earlier but calmed down this week
