Thinks it's laughable that ND in for losing to Miami and A&M, while their best win is Pittsburg, ranks Tech at #5 (despite a loss to an Arizona State team that lost to Mississippi State), whose best win is...Utah.

Tech at 5 will probably happen, but it's just irrational and stupid.

Ah just like the ole B-12 days, 1996-2011 Aggy bitching, whining, and crying. All you had to do was win against a 3 loss team, that barely beat Miss State, Kentucky, and almost let Vandy come back after being down by 24 at the end of the 3rd. Just win, but instead, in true Aggy form, y'all blew it when it mattered most.

Its what you do. Dont get mad at Tech. Win your f'n games. Its all we can do too. Boo F-n who who.

In all of the playoff chatter it is by far the biggest outlier and biggest farce. Just absolute nonsense.

Im sick of the committee saying one thing...then doing another. There is a huge Big 10/ND bias that overrules any SOS priority. They treat a loss in the Big 10 the same as the SEC and its just bullshite.

Beyond just the direct comparison of teams, the grind of playing SEC is far harder on your team than the non-existent grind of playing Big 10. A majority of their programs dont give a damn about competing in football. Compare the SEC where even our perpetual bottom dwellers are throwing in 10 win seasons and doing stadium upgrades. It was frankly grade A bullshite to just assume that OSU and Indiana were the two best teams with no question all year.

The SEC will wreck shop in further playoff contract negotiations and will outright start refusing to schedule any decent OOC team. Its past time to relegate G5 to their own division and playoff. It may also be time to start forcing the Big 10 to have to schedule 2-3 SEC teams IF they want the SEC to remain in playoff negotiations. Then we can quit pretending that Illinois and Iowa are top 25 teams when they are getting thumped by lower tier SEC teams

Those were a long time ago and different eras.

Happy to play either

3 playoff spots being spent on speculation ND is worth a shite. Ridiculous.

Who actually deserves to be in the playoff in those slots if A&M, ND and Miami don't?

3 loss Texas, 2 loss Vandy with no good wins themselves, Utah with no good wins? USC/Michigan with 3 losses?

The ND thing is dog shite. They get to tailor their schedule and hand pick teams to best up on. The sad thing is this sport has too few games to compare so the committee just runs off W-L. If this was college basketball Texas is 100% in as they focus on sos and who your wins are against.

4. Oregon

What have they done to justify being #4?

You could say a lot of teams haven't beaten anybody.

Who has TTU beat? Oregon? BYU?

Clearly you’ve looked at neither of their schedules.

I've looked at their schedules. Texas has 3 losses, one to a team with a losing record. Vandy's best win is what? Missouri? Tennessee? Neither of those teams have done anything to justify them being anywhere near looked at as good wins

Multiple SEC teams should be in over ND that may get left out.

It's still real to me, damn it. Those two teams gave me a twitch that took years to go away.

Who are these Notre Dame fans?

Right here, baw.
Seems UGA fan above is afraid they will get their arses whipped again by the Irish in the CFP.
ND ranked ahead of Miami? Cry harder. In 1993 ND and FSU each finished season with one loss. FSU’s loss was to ND, yet FSU voted #1 and ND #2 in Final Poll. Keep crying, the salt is bad for your high blood pressure anyway. LOL. Despite all this I think Vandy should be in over Miami and ND. You won’t get an argument from me if that happens.

Tell us where you would have 11-1 A&M ranked?

A&M should count their blessings. The refs bailed them out by refusing to call one of the most blatant holds of all time on the last play of the ND game. If the refs did their job, A&M would’ve lost and with 2 losses they’d be out of the playoff. Vandy would likely be in that spot.
