Yall have short man syndrome big time. There isn't a soul in America that doesn't think Clemson deserved to be in the playoff if they won all their games. Not even when yall were ranked 5th. yet....

Clemson fans were so butthurt over 5, they failed to see who was ahead of them, and how if they kept winning things would shake out. NOW you guys, and your coach, are continuing to whine about placement. Yall haven't looked like the best team all year, I don't care how many blowouts you've had, LSU has been incredibly impressive, so 2 or 3 doesn't matter. Just be happy youre in and enjoy it, instead of getting up in arms every week about something irrelevant

There is a reason Clemson is a 2.5 point favorite over Ohio State and would be a 3.5 or higher against LSU. They are very good.

The ACC isn’t in a down year. It’s in a permanent downward Spiral. But y’all will beat OSU. So that should comfort you for a little bit.

Let's look at that schedule. You deserve to be #3. The good thing for Clemson is it now prove it time.

BTW. You will not make it past OSU.

Georgia Tech 3-9
Texas A&M 7-5
Syracuse 5-7
Charlotte 7-5
UNC 6-6
Florida State 6-6
Louisville 7-5
Boston College 6-6
Wofford 8-4
NC State 4-8
Wake Forest 8-4
South Carolina 4-8
Virginia 9-4

As great of a season as LSU has had, they have more to prove than Clemson because this team was still shitting their pants as kids the last time LSU was in the National Championship hunt and have no experience dealing with the distractions...

But please continue

what you seem to be doing is resting on last year's accomplishments and expecting everyone to consider those over what has transpired this year.

Regarding LSU, of course, LSU had to prove more to get into the CFP than other teams based upon recent history. Most people think LSU has done that considering all the wins against top 15 teams (4). Therefore, LSU is ranked No. 1.

Clemson didn't play a team that allowed them to prove they are great this year. And while Clemson won it all last year, things change from year to year. And Clemson hasn't gotten a chance to prove it this year, based upon a weak schedule.

And I'm quite appalled that Clemson's players were shitting their pants when they were 10-13-year-olds. That's pretty gross. But I guess it does begin to make sense of the level of immaturity your fan base is showing by not understanding the current conversations and trying to manufacture 'subliminal messages' where none exists.

Exactly - if Alabama had played Clemson's schedule in Clemson's league, Alabama would be 13-0, ranked #3 and everyone would be saying how Alabama is great but we don't really know how great because they haven't played anyone.

how many teams do you think would be undefeated with Clemson's schedule?

UGA would still have one loss...

Hard to say - there is something to be said for not having a slip up all season. A lot of teams couldn't do that (Georgia lost to USCe, Oklahoma lost to Kansas State, Oregon lost to ASU, Wisconsin lost to Illinois, etc). And Clemson, to their credit, beat the daylights out of everyone after UNC (which is why everyone knows they are a good team).

But I certainly think we'd be undefeated. LSU and Ohio State would be undefeated. There are definitely other teams who could make a compelling argument they would be undefeated based on their performances against the types of teams on Clemson's schedule (Florida, Auburn, Penn St).

Clemson is exactly where it deserves to be - in the playoff, but the last of the 3 unbeaten teams.

ACC is not a football conference. There is Clemson and Florida state occasionally. Miami hasn’t been relevant in the last 15 years. So basically Clemson fans show up to watch their team beat the shite out of whoever they’re playing.

Didn't A1abama say this about their team?

no they wouldn't. As fun as it is to rag them, we were a completely different team at the end of the year. If UGA had Clemson's schedule they would have caught us at a better time.

UNC only looked silly for 1 play.

That might be in the top 5 worst play calls I've even seen.

How does the last decade apply to this year?

What a dumb argument.

From what I saw, two teams were fighting as tough as they could so they wouldn't have to play Clemson in the Semis. Am I missing something here?

Are these all the same players as the tested version of Clemson?

If Clemson gets by Ohio State they’ll dominate Oklahoma and be valid National Champs, IMO.

Every time? Every team? Didn't Clemson lose by 18 points to Alabama all of 2 years ago?

2015 - lost in playoff
2016 - won playoff
2017 - lost in playoff
2018 - won playoff

But yea, every time. Sure, why not.

According to that, they're due for a loss.

I think Clemson is a really good team. In fact, I think they beat OSU.

And while I think we beat them more times than not, they are good enough to beat LSU.

But, with one game for all the marbles, my bet is on Burrow leading us to the Championship.

To you myth about Clemson being tested. Who has tested them during this season? I will hang up and listen.
