The point is there is more talent with 50 miles of Miami than in Mississipi, Arkansas and probably Alabama combined

That line would probably apply to things like robberies, muggings, assaults, and murders as well.

In all seriousness, he really has. Our fan base all loves what Mullen has done in Starkville. He inherited a team that finished 4-8 and was beat down 45-0 by Ole Miss the last game of the season. He has turned us into a competative team. Has recruited the state of Mississippi extremely well, and has gained full support of our alumni base and students.

Here's to him staying put.

I have not seen many MSU games this year.

But I can tell you Mullen had a good game plan against Arkansas. I hated that there had to be a loser in that game. And while I am giving respect to Mississippi State, the MSU offensive line front four are excellent. They made the hogs defense look silly. I think Mullen is a very good couch.

I was overly impressed with the Arkansas offense as well. Mallett is a future NFL star.

Facilities

State gets a bad rap here- our facilities are better than Miami's...and alot better than most fans in the SEC realize

And they are real good when compared to alot of OOC schools

2 SEC west games in 2 years.

He has taken over a school with 2 winning seasons since 2000 when he took the job and has them at 8-4 and bowling.

Not only that, he has them competing very well in the West at a time when it has NEVER been stronger. The West had four, count them- four 10 win teams in 2010.

And he has done it primarily with Sylvester Crooms 2 star recruits. He has upgraded recruiting, and will bring in a top 20 class this season.

Coaches get hired to improve programs- and there is nobody out there that cant recognize how much improvement is going on in Starkville right now

Not saying it will be v2.0 but this sounds exactly like Winter of 2007.

He'd be out of his mind not to take the Miami job. He could win titles at Miami. no matter how good of a coach he is, MSU is never going to be stronger than the 3rd or 4th team in the SEC West. Not a shot, just the realities of college football

I don't know how to post pics. Besides, I'm old as Hell. Move along, nothing here to see.

I still can not get over the Mississippi State / Arkansas game. My son and I were watching the game together and he had to leave and watch it upstairs. I could not stop screaming at the TV for the Arkansas defense to stop the MSU offense from POUNDING it up the middle.

Dang it! Everyone watching the game knew what the next MSU play was going to be but the Arky defense wouldn't or couldn't stop it!

That being said.

Couch Mullen knew his teams strengths and the opponents weaknesses. MSU probably should have won the game. It will be sad for MSU if he leaves.

+1

Our two fumbles and Arkansas' big plays were the difference in this game. Mullen had a great gameplan. It was a great SEC football game to watch.
