I am looking forward to this game. I am a long time Xavier fan and live in MS. I would have turned the TV off at half if the winner wasn't playing us in the next round. We were already deep into conversations about how to shut down BYU. LOL at us. Great comeback.

ya'll couldn't combine for 21 if you started playing tonight.

You guys and Bama combined for 21, right?

Auburn always finds some ridiculous way of winning these kind of games, and State always finds a way to lose them though.

This. Relf starts the game last year throwing the ball off of someone's head and ends the game not pitching it to a guy that could walk into the end zone. In the Cammy-Cam game, MSU receivers and defenders wore concrete gloves. Woulda... shoulda...coulda...

Ugly wins for AU are still wins.

Merlins said, "Now!"

One of the guys up front thought he said, "Bow!"

It happens.

436 yards were produced by Relf & Ballard. Or roughly 82%.

Wash? Trotter and Dyer accounted for 77% of AU's offense.
My dad played for Diddle, so I will have to sit this one out.
The chant is really good marketing. It is a reminder to all watching that the SEC is the top brand around.

Are MSU running backs "Land Masters"?

One SEC state voted yes.

I guess the checkered flag suit means its OK with her if you finish first???

10 I taught computer classes in a room filled with Trash-80's.
20 Each unit had it's own dot-matrix printer. (Sweet!)
30 I remember that someone broke in and stole all of our cassette tapes. (Not sweet.)
40 Standard memory was 4K, but you could upgrade to 16K.
50 That's why the Commodore 64 blew it out of the water.

That moves it from a D to a C. I assume it pushed his GPA over some limit.

Sorry to bother you with, you know, facts, but the rain is primairly in Mississippi now. Shreveport may get a strong breeze and a little drizzle, but that's it.

Just stop. A minor wiggle, and Shreveport would be getting the flood right now. The guy made the best call that he could with the information presented to him.

The ESPN crew last night picked it 4-0 for NCSU.
I have a friend that complains about every meal that he has. He sends a lot of stuff back to the kitchen. He has probably eaten more chef spit than any man alive.

2 weeks ago auburn would get beat because of what we don't have (proven qb etc.) now it's auburn should take care of clemson so the pendulum has clearly gone full shift.

I think this is all a set up for the "but how in the world could you lose to clemson" threads if the unthinkable happens.

The comparisons to WVU game from last year are dumb. AU doesn't have anything close to the WVU offense.

Something resembling a top-flight SEC defense needs to show up for AU this year. Clemson ran up 624 yards in the game last year. If AU can hold them under 400 yards this year, they should be fine. AU has enough offense to win, if the D does OK to good, and they don't lose the TO battle.

4) Auburn vs. Alabama A&M, Nov. 17: Auburn joins Alabama by placing a turkey on the schedule less than a week before Thanksgiving. Auburn's opponent, Alabama A&M, will probably not cry fowl after it gets a fat, juicy check for their part in the slaughter.

Kudos to AU for playing an in-state school regardless of the level of mismatch. Auburn is going to pay someone to come to town. Might as well be another state school, and I am sure that the A&M players will be thrilled to be playing on a large stage.
Hate?

When you become a fan of a team, you like to follow that team.

When you follow a team, you like to read about them on message boards.

When you read message boards, some people make you angry.

When you become angry, you start to hate.

When you hate, you are one step away from being Harvey Updyke.

Don't become Harvey Updyke. Don't take message boards seriously.
