This is the first time that I believe another conference can beat the SEC

Since the Auburn championship a few years back. I had a funny feeling that Oregon would give Auburn all it could handle. Don't get me wrong...I eventually accepted Auburn's Championship as a legit Championship even though it was not a team victory, but an individual victory.

I have a funny feeling that Oregon could test Bama to the limit if not outright beat them in the NCG this year.

Am I in the minority or are there other SEC fans that have the same feelings as me?

Oregon is one of the few teams aggressive enough to push them and possibly win it, they have a moderate chance but I'd say it is still UA's to lose.

Did you also have a funny feeling that LSU would beat Alabama?

Oh shite, now I hope we don't make it so we don't lose in the championship game.

The problem with Oregon is they have no defense whatsoever. Their game is to get in a shootout and just outscore the opponent. Occasionally they'll get a team that can hang on offense, like USC last weekend, and they ended up just outscoring them.

If they played bama, not only would bama score fairly easily, but oregon's offense wouldn't score 60 like they can in the pac 12.

to beat bama it'll take more of a traditional team with loads of talent, like LSU. LSU just didn't do it. I guess the only team up there like that would be KSU, but KSU isn't as talented as LSU, although they do seem to be better coached.

Translation :

We just lost to Bama, now I want them to lose, and I don't like Auburn, either.

Yes. Their defense is much improved from years past and their offense is even better. I'd take Oregon to win straight up.

I had a funny feeling that LSU was going to be more competition than Bama had face all year and would give Bama a good game if not win outright...and I was not wrong.

So what's your point? I was accurate in my prediction about this past weekends game also. Why so defensive, lowly Bama fan? Does it hurt that every one saw how easy it was for a team with a horrible offense to take you guys tot he wire? I see a glint of doubt in your supper defensive statements.

This isn't quite so true this year as it has been in previous years. Oregon has shutdown a good offense or two. The inflated numbers by their opponents have been because the 1st stringers have been puller by halftime.

Oregon's defense?

The one that just gave up 50+ points?

Your simple mind should just sit this one out. This is a legit football discussion that may hurt the egos of the Bama faithful on this site.

We WILL be talking about your team's faults so you may want to excuse yourself as you will be unable to think logically and without biased.

USC scored a season-high 51 points last week. The 124th ranked Colorado defense held them to fewer points.

their offense is even better.

I really don't see much of a difference this year than any other under Kelly. They have a top 5 ranked offense each year regardless of who is in the lineup.
