You keep up with softball enough to laugh at that? Kinda surprised

I'd say yes. He's coached baseball and softball and wherever he has been, the offensive numbers made drastic improvements just the next season. Doubt he's at Mizzou long, he will get a call for a smaller D1 as the guy soon if I had to guess.

Very good coach, arguably one if the best hitting coaches in the country.

For the Missouri baseball coach? Never heard of hiring a softball coach hoping to teach your baseball players to hit a rising underhand softball. What am I missing?

It's not as cut and dry different as you think. That's what makes him so successful. He teaches the same swing to both baseball and softball and produces a ton with it.

He works a ton with pro baseball players in the off season.

No word on #s yet.

And I'm disappointed in this board. Y'all oughtta know by now that was nowhere close to what a melt would be like on my part. Not even in the same solar system.

Kendall Rogers from d1baseball just posted on Twitter that it’s a volunteer role. That’s hard to believe.

Seriously? Well that gives some credence to some rumors that are starting to float around. He left very abruptly. Gotta feeling there's an interesting backstory here.

Come on, this is a full blown melt. You even did an "out of the blue" melt on the Scar board.

Considering I haven't seen any individual softball players even acknowledge the move, that may just have some truth to it.

Volunteer at Auburn makes north of $100k in camp fees. I imagine that's still more than paid assistant for softball.

Jesus I'm disappointed in you. Thought you knew me better than that.

And posting something on our board about something Gamecock related is out of the blue? I gave the Mizzou program a frick you shout out. I'd have done that anyway. No motivation necessary.

This is broke arse Mizzou we're talking about, tho. That fact was established in the revenue thread.
