The reason why Orgeron is pulling all these guys from Cali is he was one of the top recruiters in America while coaching for several years at USC. It’s only natural that he would develop strong relationships with the high school football community on the west coast, being that countless guys he recruited from Cali had such a great experience playing for him there. Would it be such an absurd thing for him to maintain those relationships as head coach of one of the top programs in the top conference in college football?

So O lands those kids over all the other programs (who are supposedly willing to pay $) simply because he’s a goon wrangler?

You are comparing their hometown to BR, instead of the college towns in Cali to BR... I'm not disagreeing that parts of BR could be considered third world country. I'm saying you are giving Cali way too much credit. People are fleeing that state in a hurry as taxes and poverty increase at record rates.

No dumbass, it’s because LSU currently has more players on NFL rosters than any other program in America, and they want to go to a school that can get them into the league.

California is the 5th largest economy in the world compared to nations, has the most beautiful scenery, and an awful lot of people want to live there. BTW, Coach O is VERY respected and popular out west.

Look I hate Bama as much as any true LSU fan, but if you think anything will come of this you are mistaken. These guys are doing the classic divert attention tactic to lessen the appearance of the crimes they are charged with. Also for me I would rather beat them straight up on the field, not have a diminished team out there.

Oh they are not lying, the REC has been at since Bear Bryant was coaching. They are better than most at it. Except maybe Auburn and the Cam Scam. Kind of makes me jealous.
