This is all just a ploy to get rid of Vandy and Miss St.

Once the SEC legally establishes that they can remove a conference member without cause, then they can freely vote out the schools that contribute little or no revenue and replace them with more profitable schools. Just a way to shed dead weight is all. Calm down LSU fans.

South Carolina as well.
Those schools need to really be wary of what is going on.

Interesting take and this has honestly crossed my mind but I’ve withheld saying it.

Naaa they'd throw us out way before Vandy or Miss St.

Voting out members is not how a breakaway would happen. It's more likely SEC members would simply leave the conference to join some new alliance/arrangement as there is no SEC exit fee. Obviously just my layman opinion.

We'll never get rid of Vanderbilt. One of the more valuable members of our conference for certain reasons.

The SEC (backed by SEC presidents) is inserting a thin wedge of authority that can't be overruled. They're doing damage to the SEC brand and who knows how/why 15 freaking programs are all teamed up together on this witch hunt to expel a member school.

Auburn as well. They are completely unneeded in this modern era of media market driven football
