My first and last post and just want to be on record. Allowing Texas in will be the downfall of a lot of teams in the SEC. Bookmark this.

If you mean Aggie, just tell us you're scared. no need to create a new alter.

Shortest lifespan of an alter ever.

Texass historically sucks when close to evenly matched. SEC is full of evenly matched and or being outmatched. Texas won’t do much in the SEC. as a university they are soft and getting softer every year. OU had 14 B12 championships and Texas had 3. There is a reason.

I agree with your sentiments. Your name

Listening to Austin radio yesterday they are already talking about how this is a waystation on the journey to being the NFL Lite. They think the SEC as we know it won't exist in a few years.
Before you get pissed and say "Founding member!" or "Tradition!" or whatever realize that it is likely that Texas and ESPN come to Bama and UGA and UF and LSU and A&M and Tennessee and probably Auburn (OU is already their cuck) and say "Look, if we just form our own conference and drop everyone else we can get double the payout." You really think they say no? Especially when they already have Ohio State and Michigan and Clemson and USC and some others wanting to get in on the action? Oh, and make no mistake Texas will make sure that "All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others".
That is how Texas works and that is what we have been trying to tell you. Playing Texas is actually going to be fun, I just hate doing business with those unethical soulless assholes. If your school can't pull their weight in terms of bringing in $$ then I would be very nervous about the future. Just ask Tech and Oklahoma State how they are feeling right now, much less Baylor or TCU or Iowa State or KStateor West Virginia or probably Kansas.
To be fair though it's probably more ESPN driving this than Texas. The idea of a group of the 30 or so biggest money schools all playing each other in a league as basically, the NFL lite is just too big of a financial opportunity for them to ignore and the big schools are not going to be able to walk away from those giant piles of cash either.
BTW, I'd love to be wrong. This isn't the CFB world I want at all.

This is a general trend in CFB that we are moving to super leagues.

At least your thoughts are a matter of public record now. I'll make sure the suits in Birmingham know how you feel. No doubt this thread will be printed out, stuck to refrigerators and reread for generations to come.

You are worrying too much.. I think the SEC will actually benefit, and not just financially, but culturally from us being here.
