Right, since when has winning the SEC ever been meaningless?

This is my point. We get to watch this game for simply what it is: 60 minutes to decide the SEC Championship. No need to look at any other scores going around the country on or anything else.

I'm actually excited to watch. LSU will be a good test and prep for Georgia. There's a chance.

Last years game between UGA and UM is gonna look like a little pink tea party compared to what UGA is gonna do to Michigan this year. And even that depends on whether UM gets past the semifinal. Not a given at all.

After winning 3 in a row in the 80's, Georgia has only won 3 in the last 40 years. Winning the SEC is always important.

It was this way when Bama played UF in 2016.

UGA will have a player or two suspended for a targeting hit in the second half on their way to winning and they’ll miss the first game of the CFB Playoff. That’s about the most influence LSU is gonna have on the playoff.

Maybe it's more simple than that.

It's a distinct possibility that the op was inferring that LSU ( vacuum ) sucks.

That's the way I see it.

The last thing we need is some screwed up scenario where we end up #2 and play USC in Arizona.

Impressive how quickly you forgot how bad Georgia destroyed you last year.
