This game has absolutely zero affect on the Playoff/National Championship.

UGA is in regardless.

LSU can only earn a NY6 spot.

Seems like it's just 2 teams simply playing for the Championship of the Greatest Conference in America.

Both fan bases get to sit back and relax and enjoy 60 minutes of football on a big stage and give absolutely zero fricks about what else is going on around the country.

Here's to a good game Dawgs and hopefully both teams come out of it injury free .

Also:
frick YOU AND UGLY arse UGA. LSU BY 20!

Pretty meaningless since UGA is likely in the CFP with a loss.

But is playing for seeding. Can be important. Do want to be a 1 playing a 4 or a 4 playing a 1?

I can guarantee you it's not meaningless to UGA

I think the furthest they fall is 3. They will play USC or TCU in Rd 1. They are far better than both. Committee will not match them up with Michigan in Rd 1.

Pretty huge deal from a UGA perspective for seeding. Don’t know that the team feels that way, but it’s imperative UGA gets the #1 seed and plays in Atlanta in the semifinal imo. The last thing we need is some screwed up scenario where we end up #2 and play USC in Arizona.

maybe not from a macrolevel view but it means a shite ton to UGA for other reasons.

-Primarily if we win we lock in the #1 seed and will get to open the playoffs back in Atlanta against the 4 seed. That sure beats having to fly out to phoenix.
-Alabama is the only SEC school with more SEC titles than us. Winnign would put us in sole possession of 2nd most all time for the first time in my life and I'm guessing probably the first time ever. That's a pretty big deal.

I honestly think it bodes well for LSU, they’ll be in a similar position as A&M was vs them, nothing to really lose since they won’t make the playoff now. LSU can play loose. Yes Georgia is still in even with a loss, but they’ll want that #1 slot to get matched up vs #4 and continue their unbeaten streak. They’ll have more pressure on them.

I agree with this completely. Michigan is THE premier team in college football right now, and a record 17+ million people watched us sodomize the o$u walNUTS in their building. It wasn't an accident or a fluke or luck, it was DOMINATION.

Hope these Pug Doggies down in mobile home heaven, er uh, Athens watched that game, too. They're playing "cool" in front of the fellows, but really they're scared to play Michigan right now. Yes, I said they're SCARED! Michigan is locking teams down right now, literally.

Not only did we beat the walNUTS, we actually planted a MICHIGAN flag on THEIR field in front of their players and their fans. So, put the GA Pug dogs on notice...we're gonna plant a MICHIGAN flag in your @ss!!!

When LSU lost it took the edge off this game for GEO. People
dont realize how emotions play a huge part in football.I
dont know if LSU can hold up against the Bulldogs dept but
they will have the pscyological advantege, just like A@M had
last saturday.I don`t expect Geo to play at their best because of this, lets see if the Tigers can take advantage
of that.We should expect a closer game than we think.
