Many people do.
The reality is that video games really took off in the 80's with games like Zelda coming out in 1986 or before that Pac-man in 1980.
So you're looking at people born in the 70's being the kids who grew up playing tons of video games.
Those kids are in their late 40's and early 50's now. A solid percentage of them never really stopped playing a certain amount of video games.
People born before that had to adopt games as an adult. That number was MUCH smaller.

I just came across a guy playing as Auburn at Auburn and the band was playing Neck. They were playing someone other than LSU.

So I've been playing College Football '25 for the last few days off and on. The game play sucks and kicking a field goal is nearly impossible. You're better off going for it rather than kicking it. There are a lot of things that are very unrealistic in the game play. The CPU AI is ridiculous. I watched a safety come from 15 years behind my receiver to break up the catch on a bullet pass in stride where the receiver was uncovered and wide open.
I've been a huge fan of the NCAA game series for years, but they've made this game very difficult to play.
They really screwed up on some facts too. For example, in the OU/TX game they say Texas won last season 34-30. That's false.
Also. They got rid of the coin toss? You can't even call heads or tails or chose to kick or differ.
They also claimed that this would be on a new game engine. It's not. It's on the Madden game engine.

It was bound to happen. I figured there would be a lot of bugs in this game that would turn people off.
