Things I hate about this sport

1. James Madison going 0-1 against Power 4 teams and yet getting a Playoff spot.
2. Tulane losing to Ole Miss by 5 touchdowns and getting put into the Playoff to play… that same Ole Miss team.
3. Alabama and Ohio State seemingly always catching every break in the College Football Playoff process and then having to listen to Nick Saban, Greg McElroy, Rece Davis, Joey Galloway, and Kirk Herbstreit tell us why it all makes sense.
4. A committee that tells us one week that Team A is better than Team B despite losing the head-to-head matchup but then one week later despite neither team playing, they tell us the opposite…. All while we are made to feel stupid for not understanding their logic.
5. Playoff games airing on TNT and HBO Max
6. A Primetime Saturday night CFP matchup involving James Madison at Oregon and no other game to flip to.
7. Heather Dinuch
8. One team losing in a conference championship game by 3 scores and the talking heads telling us you can’t be punished for losing conference title games and another team losing their conference title game and getting moved backwards (obviously) because they looked terrible.
9. Hunter Yurichek
10. Being told that “Zach in the graphics department” is the only person at ESPN who knows what the committee has decided.
Other than that, what a wonderful sport we spend our time and money on each and every fall.

Another reason why I say there should be no committee at all.

Sweet continued melt. Why would an Auburn fan ever even care about the playoffs?
That said, I will applaud your self control in placing the actual thing that has you seething down at #3.

We all watched your soft team melt last night and now we’ll get to watch them melt again in the playoffs.
What a joke of a playoff system.

I think the committee got it right in the end. Waiting until the very last second to rightly switch Notre Dame and Miami is what is egregious.
Also I hate lib ESPN and how they’ve taken over 100% of our sport.
