If we are talking about hurting/killing people who roll a tree to celebrate success, then i'm okay with it. It's one of the many reasons I cannot admit I am from Alabama to others in my professional community.

With the people still around, you would think that he could get some type of endangerment charges too but nothing will be done about it. They let Updyke off the hook setting the precedent that no one gives a shite about the trees except auburn fans even when it is a danger to others. Had we gotten a big rain behind Updyke that shite could have gotten into the water table with as much as he put down, he could have easily been charged with a terrorism charge too and wasn't.

Well, I was about to argue that this was worse, but I didn't think about it getting into the water supply. Harvey did do some time. He probably didn't think about it getting into the water supply.(never occurred to me either frankly). The LSU fan knew he was endangering other people that were around. You are right Updyke should've gotten more time and I hope they throw the book at this guy. It is unacceptable to endanger innocent people. And you are right I don't care about trees, one can always plant more.

Same here. F--k that kind of behavior and whoever did it. They need their arse kicked in public.

More rednecks in Dallas than the entire state of Alabama. Quit being such an idiot.

Calm down, tough guy. Most traditions look silly to outsiders. They're what make college football the best sport on the planet. If this guy is a Bama fan, don't care, jail him.

I'd say it's more to do with your self worth/esteem issues. Might be time to see a counselor....

Clearly rolling trees to celebrate a win is classy and not 100% embarrassingly redneck.

Meh, it's a fun, whacky tradition that gives the fans a reason to get together after a win. Seems you might take yourself too seriously and care a little too much about what others think.

A professional wouldn't be a scared little bitch to tell people where he was from.

Yet you are not one of them. You are in here blabbering with the same attitude that you are supposedly opposing. There's a word for it.
