We got Pittman because we have some mentally challenged desicion makers. Exhibit A pass up Norvell for Gus/Morris. Exhibit B pass up Willie Fritz/Prime/ Leach and hire Pittman.

I’d say great fan support, great facilities, and getting paid millions is a good start. Arkansas has everything except for a local recruiting base.

That’s not true. Coaches wanted the job, we just passed them up to hire bad coaches.

You are 10th in the SEC in HC salaries. You have a terrible recruiting base. You can't decide if you want your home games to be actually home or somewhere else. You think that a proven winner finds this attractive? If so, you are delusional. You've got as about as good as you are going to get - UNLESS you get an unproven kid who does really great - and then some other school will grab him up

You act like Arkansas couldn’t pay more than tenth. We can , but do you really think Pittman is worth more? No. For the right coach Arkansas would pay whatever it takes to keep him.
I already stated our in-state recruiting is bad. But, look at Oklahoma. Bad in-state recruiting that relies on out of state talent.

I-35 is a much easier drive than Fayetteville to NE Texas
