And none of them put up the numbers like Joe this year. That’s what I’m trying to say.

I am willing to bet that a QB has put up numbers like those at some point already. Maybe an old Texas Tech QB? Thing is, you never know just going by numbers. They don't tell the whole story. Sorry.

He had a great year. Be happy with what your team has accomplished, and hopefully will accomplish. Don't get so caught up in "the best" arguments, because they can never be settled.

Should we tell him that Burrow didn't even have the highest passing efficiency numbers THIS year?

I know LSU fans are excited...first relevance in a decade or so, but wow.

He had a great year.
Well deserved accolades.
This.

He’s definitely the GOAT LSU QB and we may never have another as good, but someone likely will.

He's not even as great a talent as Trevor Lawrence.

Nope. You’re missing the point of what I’ve been saying. Yes, people have thrown for more yards and TDs. Yes, Tua has a slightly higher efficiency rating this year. But no QB had put it all together AND been on an undefeated team in the playoffs or playing in a BCS championship. You can research the stats until you’re blue in the face. What Burrow has put together this year is in a league I’m of its own right now.

Your post doesn’t really disprove what i said. In fact there are at least two players this year who fit your criteria

TF are you talking about? No one has done it. Burrow would be one of one players in history to be top 10 in all 4 categories.. If they beat Oklahoma, he’ll be top 6 in all of them.

Get this through your head: it’s the best passing season in college football history.

If Burritos doesn’t win the National Championship he will drop back in the pack of good quarterbacks.
There will be many as good or better.

The Burrow completion percentage on downfield passes was amazing. I'm looking forward to the last three games.

I've watched Lawrence since HS and he's not quite as good as burrow. Either one could get especially hot and win.

The only trophy that counts is the National Championship trophy.

So if they lose to OU, then he has the Heisman taken away?

Lols

I think the word your dumbass is looking for is “matters” as opposed to “counts”

Which would also be wrong
