Scheduled to go to double elimination in two years. Tournament to start in August each year.

The SEC championship game was awesome until the recent playoff and conference expansion. Should be a warning sign but nope.

You do realize that for most of the SECs history there was no championship game? That Roy Kramer created it to generate more revenue?

I never have been a huge fan of the SEC title game. I would much rather keep it and stay at the current playoff format than move to this 24 team playoff. Any time the Conferences think more money is involved they will just keep expanding. It’s like these morons think crossing the NFL with March Madness would be a good playoff system for college football. It won’t be. It will suck no matter how many more teams they add.
