Im still in awe of OM taking the stance of going down with the ship. They fired one guy which was the high school relations guy with the AD. They know they're dirty yet won't cut their losses and instead are choosing to go out in an ugly and embarrassing manner like Freeze. There will be more.

Ole Miss is just doing their own version of Butch and Sundance going out with a bang.

it was pretty good but could have been better. I could have used more motorcycles and maybe a coed or two.

Now this would have really tied everything together. But, we can't get TOO perfect here.

You have to go back to the Mike Dubose/Ronnie Cottrell era of the late 90s to see this many Southern contradictions of corruption and immorality done with such self righteous cluelessness. Well done Ole Miss.

I never thought that anything could eclipse that era and here Ole Miss comes up with a scandal that ties it all together beautifully.

Like a total eclipse or a comet, you just don't get to see these that often.

No. We left our spectacular mark of arrogance, incompetence, corruption, and clueless self righteousness from the very beginning of Dubose until the end of the Shula era. A nearly 10 year uninterrupted trainwreck that started with a fax campaign by fans and boosters to hire Dubose and ended with the failed hiring of Coach Rich Rod from West Virginia and was unfortunately for the rest of the SEC cleaned up for good with Saban's hiring :)

It is kinda funny that while Ole Miss is busy patting themselves on the back for WE-BEAT-BAMA, Arkansas coaches present and past have been quietly destroying everything those wins could have meant for their program.

Didn't Colorado have a story similar when they became good with one of their coaches? Star QB knocked up the coach's daughter to top it off.

POTY. Seriously.

Not enough upvotes to give.

This one quote sums it up perfectly:

now THATS what I'm talking about here. we need some more daytime soap style drama since we have added the more gender neutral(read A&M) fans to our audience. gotta keep them all interested.

Does Ole Miss actually have some misplaced illusion that they will take down the NCAA in this scandal? It's about the only logical position given their attitude and actions.

As a Bama fan who lived through the 2000's, Ole Miss has been like watching a car crash is slow motion. It's like a bad movie we all have seen and you know how its going to end. Well everyone, except their deluded idiot fans.

The best thing is the story isn't concluded yet. We still got chapters to go!
