Too funny

Pretty much every single LSU fan on here said he messed up item number one.

And you try to make it look not that big a deal by stating his coaching position.

What

The article points out the biggest issue with losing him. Recruiting

You might be jumping NFL as worst LSU poster.

Raymond was not the end all be all in recruiting and the pic of him with a Florida shirt on looking like a hostage in the middle east says it all. He is not happy being there and over stepped his play asking for more money. Kelly replaced his recruiting loss with Frank Wilson and hired a 2 coaches that have both played DB at the highest level and are good coaches along with being good recruiters, one has been a HC yes at the high school level but took a crap team and turned it into a stated champion and also coached in the NFL and Cooks has coached at several high level colleges and has been successful everywhere he goes. Had Raymond stayed it would have been nice to have him and Frank for recruiting but Hankton is also an excellent area recruiter. Not worried.

Reason #1 why Kelly will fail: He can’t beat teams with equal or more talent than him.

Reason #2: He can’t recruit well enough to alleviate the cause of reason #1

Brian Kelly has had success at every head coaching job he's ever had. LSU won national championships with Les Miles and Edward Orgeron. What in the world would make anyone believe that Kelly would fail at LSU?

Thank you for copy pasting so I didn't have to give that site a click.

LOfrickINGL at the Frank Wilson and quarterback bits.

If you can keep Corey Raymond, you keep him, but he's been slipping and he's not worth what he thinks he's worth. Wilson is a better recruiter. Maybe Raymond just needed a fresh start somewhere else.

263-96 career record but he can’t win games

Recruiting to LSU is a lot different than to a bleak corner of northern Indiana, so far he’s done very well recruiting in the short time he’s been here

Pursuing Jayden Daniels with three SEC starting-caliber QBs on the roster

I'm excited to see what those 3 guys can do. But, pretending that any of them are proven is ridiculous.

He’s had a bunch of 10 win seasons vs no competition. Those would have been 7 win seasons in the SEC West, at best. He is not an elite recruiter or coach. He’s not bad at either one, just not as good as coaches/recruiters within his own division. Probably not top 3 or 4 at either within the sec west.

And going from those schools to LSU gives him no bump in what he has to work with at all?

The way he salvaged the class and worked the portal in such a short time exceeded any of our expectations. He’s recruiting to LSU now.

If Kelly fails it won't be because of the three things listed here.

The last 5 years of his tenure at ND they averaged the number 12 strength of schedule.

Can you also let us know when Jimbo earns his $100 million or when your $35 million recruiting class pans out?

That some of you really think Brian Kelly isn’t going to win at LSU is hilarious

Kelly WILL WIN at LSU, and the writer sees that in the tea leaves or what ever he used to write the article. Kelly may prove to be the third best coach in the SEC. It has the folks in the hills of Tennessee mighty nervous, obviously.

He’s never had to play an SEC West schedule. He has never had to play in those stadiums with those fans. He’s never been in a division where, in any given year, the team in last place in your division has NFL guys on both sides of the ball.

Didn’t get Wilson,

He should have figured out if there would be any allegations from 8 years ago that didn’t come out in a month long investigation of the athletic department and or the first petition of the lawsuit.
