Kelly is a pretty poor X’s and O’s coach. Glaring in big games

Kelly has successfully rebuilt 4 other schools and just about every coach we’ve ever had was much more successful here than they had been anywhere else previously. Do the match on that, Daniel.

Well using that logic, if he indeed fails as many think he’s going to do. He’s even a worse hire than perceived. BC per your logic, somehow LSU elevates coaches careers.

I just went and browsed his record at ND. The only top 5 team he ever beat while at ND was at home in double OT with Clemson having several starters out including their star experienced QB. Of course everyone saw what happened in the rematch when they had all their players back. So he never once beat a top 5 team without help from Covid. Impressive!

I’ve been saying this since he was hired. Even if he replicates what he did at ND, the LSU fans base will not be satisfied. They are expecting him to go above and beyond what he ever did at ND, at 60 years old, against tougher competition.

It’s highly unlikely. Could it happen? Maybe. It’s a long shot though.

It’s an undeniable fact even your Gerry Dinardo, Jerry Stovall, Mike Archer type coaches had an SEC title, major bowl appearance, or at least a 10 win season.

Ed Orgeron was 3-27 in SEC play at Ole Miss

Oh really, A simple google search proves you are in fact retarded and wrong. And I don't want to hear about past vacated crap that had nothing to do with him, the school or team. By the way if you want to count that you are still wrong as per the record books it shows 0-0 record like it did not happen smart guy

Biggest mistake was letting Max Johnson go.

You serious bro???? That was addition by subtraction, enjoy all the sacks if he starts.

I would say at least as well but not necessarily way above and beyond. The “tougher competition” angle presumes Notre Dame is just as good a job as LSU. It isn’t.

Spurrier was 60 when he went to USCe for the record.

FWIW I liked Max, though he has some limitations.

Well they had to settle for their fifth choice so what would you expect?

Hey I agree with you.

But what I looked at earlier showed adjusted records of 0-1 and 0-4. Have no clue why it’s shown that way. Only victories are vacated?? Who knows with the NCAA.

Coach who has been very successful everywhere he’s been (12+ win seasons at 4 different schools and 54-9 over the last 5 years) is going to a school that has won national titles with multiple subpar coaches. And yet somehow he’s going to fail?

Sig dibs.

You go right ahead.

Expecting him to fail flies in the face of both everything he’s done and his career as well as our history of making coaches.

How many schools could Les Miles have won 75% of his games for over a decade? 4 or 5?

Still cracks me up this retard is still so devoted to his “WellAckshily Brian Kelly went 0-12 wins cos vacated wins durrr” gotcha after being triggered by a single LSU fan. Even so much he has a sig pic for it lmao

MetroAtlantaGatorFan claims that Kelly had "multiple winless seasons at Notre Dame" because Notre Dame vacated all wins from their 2012 season.

Apparently someone said something about vacated wins not counting once and it hurt his pussy.

Now he lashes out at the rest of us for some reason that no one has been able to figure out.

Nailed it. There’s a plethora of us LSU fans who have no problem with Florida claiming SEC 11 titles. But the autist likes to think we all think the same and pulls out this HAHA I GOTCHA card to LSU fans not even disagreeing with him. You can tell the guy suffers from room temperature IQ and doesn’t win many arguments. It’s why he clings on to this one.

More than Aggie can say after a decade in the SEC and recruiting classes ranked higher than Kelly’s in the same timeframe.

I will admit one of those wins at Notre Dame was against us in the Music City Bowl when y’all poached John Chavis.

Still touching yourself over that one?

That must make the loss of Max really sting. You were really high on him.
