"Mizzou and Vanderbilt." - statement by the son of the current head coach of one of Mizzou's sports teams, who my cousin happens to be roommates with. Take it for what its worth.

The coach's son relayed to my cousin one instance last year in which the Mizzou coach in question used his intense dislike for the opposing head coach's cheating as part of an expletive-laden locker room rant the Mizzou coach gave to his team about the importance of Mizzou competing well and winning against said allegedly corrupt team.

All secondhand, and although its coming from a Mizzou source and hence in theory prone to some bias toward other schools, at least it comes from the family of an actual coaching staff. And before folks get too defensive, keep in mind this article.

As far as Mizzou, this was certainly spoken in the present tense - our basketball program has been put on probation a few times in the early 1990s and early 2000s so there's no way to assert that we've always been clean.

At any rate, some food for discussion.

Then why do teams that get caught receive penalties.

ETA: UF hasn't had NCAA sanctions since 1990.

So your inside source to Missouri's non-cheating is the family member of a current Missouri coach.

If your left nut is anything like mine, you can't believe anything it says.

I don't pass any judgement on that. I'm just relaying that the offspring of at least one coach indicates that some of the universities currently choose not to partake and as a result, competing against those who do is a source of frustration for that particular coach.
