Bama knows they don't get in without the media's help. Plain and simple.
I haven't heard LSU fans "blame" bama for being in the game. It happened.
They do have the worst "body of work" of any team to play in the BCSNC. As such, a large number of the bammers are trying to justify their existence as #2 or why others shouldn't have been selected.

Let it go. The argument has merit or the majority of the country wouldn't be making it. You got in based on the letter of the law. People are outraged because it offends their sense of equal opportunities and fairness. You had your opportunity, in their opinion, and Oklahoma State has not. You can dismiss the argument on technical issues (BCS rules), but you can't dismiss the perception (fair result) of others because it is inconvenient to you.
Changes to systerms occur when they deliver results majorities believe unfair. You will see changes to how college football chooses its champion based on Alabama being selectied to play instead of Oklahoma. That should be all the proof anyone needs to know that the "Bama had their chance" argument is not funny.

Never has a team played in the BCS title game without at least winning their division. Also Bama hasn't played another SEC team in a bowl game in 50 years. If Bama wins on Jan. 9. What will it prove? That Bama was 1-1 against LSU while LSU will have beaten the BCS national champ, pas 12 champ, big east champ. And Bama will have finally had a win that's worth a shite.

I didn't say it was in either 2008 or 2009. I know time goes by fast, so when I said A FEW YEARS AGO.......It was longer than 2008 or 2009.
