I really don't care what anyone calls it, rematch, do over or whatever, as long as we're playing in the game. I resent people giving Bama a hard time about playing in this game. We didn't make the decision for us to get to play. We didn't make those other teams lose so we'd move up, but we're sure glad that they did. What do people think that we should do? Should we say "no thanks, we don't think that we should play in the championship game, because we've already lost to LSU once"? The only way to prevent this is to go ahead and declare LSU the champion and not have the game, because they beat us once already this year. A few years ago we played Florida in the regular season and won, but we had to play them again in the SEC championship. I don't remember anyone saying that Florida shouldn't have a crack at the SEC championship because Bama had already beaten them.
We only beat them by 1 point during the season, and people were looking forward to the rematch, because they were the best of the East and we were the best of the West. That is how people should be looking at this game. These are the 2 best teams in the nation playing for the national championship, winner takes all. Not sure my heart can take it, but I'm looking forward to this game, and I'm hoping for the best from our team, and as long as they do that I will be a happy fan.

Alabama did not play Florida in the regular season in both 2008 and 2009. Try again.

Bama is only in the titles game cuz they're living off LSU's resume. Who have they beaten? Oh that's right they barely lost to the #1 team who has kicked every Conference champions arse. Keep living off of LSU's accomplishments Bama.
