That's all they did to him (one of the whistlers) in Hoover. They made him and go to the seat he paid for and get away from the TV mics. The a-hole knew just what he was doing

It's only fair, since they issue all state fans their own microphone to affix to their cowbells at baseball games.

Right? I like how cowbells are the only "artificial" noise in the SEC

Acceptable behavior vs unacceptable behavior, how to decide and who to decide?
They left the definition of "disruptive behavior" vague for a reason. It is up to the venue to decide who is being disruptive and to put a stop to it.
If the whistlers want to confine their whistling to times when it is appropriate to cheer, then there is no problem. But going non stop and annoying the other fans in attendance is unacceptable. Yes, there is plenty of gray area there.
I certainly recognize the irony of cowbell fans complaining about whistling. But this is baseball vs. Football. If a few MSU fans were clanging bells non stop in Omaha, then they should be silenced as well.

I wonder what would happen if someone next to him poured out a soda on his head to get him to stop. That might work, and you cannot get arrested or ejected for that ... hmmm

literally believe I am the only person on earth that this guy doesn't bother. I don't particularly like him, but I have never given two thoughts to him as I watched a game. Maybe its 30 years of going to games where cowbells are rung non-stop.
You are the only one. Again, This isn’t about cowbells versus a whistler. Stop
Being a bitch and throwing our home traditions under the bus. We are talking baseball here. This is about 2 assholes who ruin it for everyone on TV and at the game. Not even their own fan base likes them.

Let him sit in your living room next you and do that shite every 5 seconds.
That’s what it sounds like when watching Vanderbilt.

Please tell me how many fricking cowbells you heard in Omaha so far?
Posted on 6/19/19 at 1:06 pm to cubsfan5150
I shouldn’t be allowed to go to the game and make “the most annoying sound in the world” from Dumb and Dumber for 3 straight hours. You should be punished for being a shitty person

he annoys the shite out of me... but I agree. if he pays for a ticket he should be able to whistle.
And those that paid for the ticket should be able to enjoy the game too. If he doesn't want to get kicked out, all he has to do is stop whistling. It's not like they're asking him to stop cheering for his team.
They're asking him to stop being an obnoxious douche bag that antagonizes other fans around him for sport and intentionally ruins TV broadcasts. What's that saying from the OT....stupid games, stupid prizes?

You could get both ejected and arrested for that....but maybe that was your point???

if he pays for a ticket he should be able to whistle.
He intentionally susses out the TV mic's and positions himself (and his partner) directly in mic area so that they draw attention to their whistling throughout the entire broadcast. He's a childish jackass.

He ruined a regional for me in the 80's. Just sayin. Then he just sat in his seat (two away from mine) and wasn't the celebrity he is now. It didn't occur to me to complain but I was disappointed I could not enjoy that regional--had seats behind home plate for that regional. So. Cal. suicide squeeze regional.

They have definitely shut him down today.

I'd befriend him and get him to let me buy him a hot dog and coke. Then, I'd pour ex-lax into his coke.

You can hear it occasionally but it’s not the non-stop bullshite they usually pull.
