Rumors had it that Gruden wants to get back into coaching, however, I see him coaching in the NFL more than I see him going into the college relm. Kelly seems more like a west coast guy. Stoops....I don't see him coming back into coaching and having to rebuild.

I think what happened to him at USC was indicative as hwo he is as a head coach, though. And he certainly did not show much at USC. they couldn't wait to run him out of town.
However, more to the point, is Kiffen insisted on Tennessee giving his assistant coaches 2-3 year contracts, then left, leaving Tenn. with a bunch of asst. coaches that a new head coach would have to keep. I just feel Kiffen did Tenn. bad, and I'm surprised you would even consider him again.

13-15 seems reasonable. You have to take into consideration their history. Tennessee has a great history and tradition. I would have had trouble putting them in the top 10, but 13-15 is very reasonable. Probably closer to 11 or 12.

I've always wondered if Kiffin deep down regrets leaving Tennessee when you look at where he is now eight years later. Lane really had it made here and the fans were all in on him. He never had that kind of backing at USC, then was fired in embarrassing fashion and had to go work under Saban.
