Tell that to Other Divisions. They have generated enough excitement with their 16 Team Playoff System that can sustain them.

Those division offer fewer schollies, are greatly limited as to what they are allowed to expense, and the NCAA subsidizes their playoffs, which means the big schools are indirectly subsidizing their playoffs.

Fewer scholarships are on the horizon. The public is going to demand a better system and the game is already watered down with bad OOC Games. You will see a bigger playoff, fewer games, less scholarships and less contact.

You will see a bigger playoff,

I think this is going to come later than most are expecting. Only 2 of 8 semifinal games have been any good. ESPN isn't going to want to pay for an expanded playoff just to be saddled with added crap.

You have a committee of 8-10 “experts” making decisions with an eye toward attendance and TV ratings. There is no play in criteria and the pool isn’t very deep. Look at the other Big 6 Bowl Game and imagine them as part of the playoff system. Most of the have been competitive. Plus, ESPN would kill for a 16 Game Playoff, I ‘m just not sure they would pay the most for it.

are up in arms over UCF claiming a title for going undefeated.

Well with the only iffy games being playing Memphis at home twice there were 5 teams from the West that would have gone undefeated with UCFs schedule

Ehhh....

8 out of 16 have finished within one score. Add in a couple of others that were well-fought but didn't end as close. Yeah, the other bowls have been "better" than the semis. Still, the average margin of victory has been two TDs, because for every USC-PSU Rose Bowl you get a TCU-Ole Miss Peach Bowl.

You've gotta love the irony considering how LSU fans still lose their shite over USC being co-champs in 03.

It’s a joke and brings attention to SEC Shorts and al.com. It ain’t that serious

Agreed. They(ucf) have been having fun all off season trolling us(bill board in t-town was hilarious), and now we troll them back. It is what is, a funny joke.

Bunch of sloots walking around with open bottles of wine. Millennials might end up with the shortest avg lifespan of any generation in American history.
