If Schnall didn't take the SC job, a lot of folks thought Meade was the backup plan. He was an assistant here, as well.

I've coached my daughter's softball teams since 2019 and it's the same deal. Biggest pain by far has been dealing with the parents who think their girl should be the starting pitcher, SS, whatever. I get it, I'm a parent, too, but sometimes gotta take the "my kid" goggles off.

At Troy, we learned to put buyouts in contracts. One of yall will be subsidizing our next coach. And then the next one and the next one and so it goes for us.

Dont know, may be where he wants to be. I thought Jeff Willis would be long gone from LSUE, but he likes it there. Something to be said for liking your job.
