The pass was placed in such a way that the receiver became a tackling dummy which is why that tackle looked so textbook

The Baylor receiver turned inside after the catch. Looked like he could have turned outside, extended his arm and could have scored.
But yeah great tackle.

Nope, he was wrapped up. Winters did everything perfectly. Had the perfect angle to tackle and keep him out, wrapped him up solid and receiver could extend his arms, and if you watch the replay, as soon as Winters gets his arms around the guy, he starts rolling and shifting his body away from the endzone. Great play.

QB threw to the inside of TE killing his momentum and shifting his weight backwards. If the ball was outside our outside shoulder the TE is in the EZ

Incredible play. I have only seen a few as good or better my whole damn life and I am old

But you are not wrong, however, DJ Lagway is their QB.
He showed flashes of being really good on some of those drives last night. He made some really good throws.
He made some bad ones too. The picks certainly helped us out.
But I think he could be good if he gets it all together.
