Ole Miss has never finished #1 in any legitimate poll. Doesn't matter if it is on the NCAA's website. Y'all are still losers.
Then you can't claim 1942 anymore. Can't have it both ways.

This is correct. We could have better teams in the future and not make it this far.

The NCAA does recognize football titles. They just don’t award them
How do they recognize them ? Just because they list the Services that gave out NCs each year doesn't mean they recognize them. Does the maps of Palestine show Israel on any of them ?

Mississippi fans bonding nicely after the tough loss over their ZERO national titles.

According to the NCAA, UGA and OM have the same number of football titles...

Everybody on Twitter thinks ND got away with foul there at the end.
I'm gonna give this natty to MSU.

No, it means you are listing the Groups. By recognizing they are endorsing their legitimacy absence of their own award. Which they refuse to do.

I feel bad for their team and coach. They were spectacular and championship worthy. But the idea of State fans crying right now about a women’s basketball result (and I have zero doubts that it’s happening) makes me very happy.

Time for a history lesson -
The NCAA recognizes 1960, awarded to us by the Football Writers Association of America. For those of you who don't know who that is, the FWAA awarded the Grantland Rice Trophy to it's national champion from 1954-2013. It also selects the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year, the Bronko Nagurski Trophy winner, the Outland Trophy winner, a freshman All-America team, and weekly defensive player of the week, as well as developing scholarship programs and surveys for better working conditions.
Minnesota was awarded the national title BEFORE THE BOWL SEASON. Ole Miss proceeded to win their bowl game (Sugar Bowl against Rice), while Minnesota lost theirs (Rose Bowl vs. Washington), making Ole Miss the one and only undefeated team that season.
In fact, Minnesota finished that season 8-2, with losses coming in the Rose Bowl and against UNRANKED Purdue at home. Ole Miss was 10-0-1 that season, with Ole Miss' tie coming against LSU at home.
The football community, at large, recognizes the 1960 national championship since the title was awarded before the conclusion of the season. We would have undoubtedly been ranked #1 if the title was awarded at the proper time.
Put this argument to rest. We may not have been awarded the national title by the AP, but there plenty of teams who claim national titles that may have not been awarded them.
Therefore, Ole Miss HAS won a title in a sport.

That’s a lot of typing to still have ZERO national titles at the end of it.
