The state of Louisiana is a whopping 4.2% of the SEC footprint's total population.
It's on pace to fall below 4% within five years as it is the slowest growing state in the South... yes, even slower than Mississippi in both nominal and percentage terms.
But did you all know that LSU's brand is the biggest in America? It's larger than the New York Yankees, the Dallas Cowboys, Manchester United, and Taylor Swift combined.

It's the SEC state that has lost the most population. And 1 of only 2 states in the SEC that not only didn't see growth but had negative growth along with Mississippi.

LSU is a national brand bro just like Bama. Travel out of the country sometimes mate. I have seen LSU gear everywhere from France to Mexico to Costa Rico, Germany, Russia, England etc.

LSU is one of the biggest national brands out there. And we have the most recognizable public figure with the greatest draw out of every university. Our media representation of former athletes is also one of the highest.
Is there any university out there with a bigger public figure representing than Shaq?
