SO CAR...….1-3 (25.0%)

Dammit .... we should have won both the 76 and 79 games, not just the 84 game, although that was a sweet comeback win at their place in 84. 6-13 loss in 76 and 17-18 loss in 79.

What I remember most was a few days after the 79 game Iran students stormed our embassy in Tehran and took our people hostage and the world changed forever.

Genuinely surprised that LSU has played the Irish more than any other SEC team. Wonder if it has anything to do with the catholic culture of Louisiana or just odd circumstance

I’ll be pulling for the Bulldogs. I hate ND!

No, it was very much meaningful for ND. It was Dan Devine's last season and they wanted badly to go out with a win for him. Secondly, they had the chance to finish with 10 wins that season. Third, they'd only given up 128 points that year and they wanted to shut Herschel Walker down (they didn't). Their defense came out with a nasty attitude for that game. They wanted to spoil UGA's undefeated season. They had all the motivation in the world to want to win that game.

The chest and balls on one of those teams are bigger than the rest.

I remember listening to Mizzou's upset of Joe Montana's ND on KMOX. The score ? 3-0.

This just makes me that much more pissed we got screwed on that touchdown the last time we played them. It would have tied our record up.

One of those wins was a meaningless bowl game for ND though.

Just stop already with your cutsie little gotcha game.

Comparing a Sugar Bowl that ultimately determined the NC to the modern day big 6 bowl with absolutely nothing on the line is childish.

Are you still that desperate for a pat on the back from your Michigan bowl win?

Never used the word, "meaningless". However, it was meaningless to Texas (witness LSU loss and the Cows ain't back either) and meaningful to us because our players have hopefully learned a lesson from it.

Sugar Bowl win flipped 2 key recruits to Texas & was the catalyst on Herman dragging his balls over Jimbo with in state OL/DL recruiting.

At least you're not denying how silly your point is.

Your insecurity is embarrassing.

LSU should be 7-5 against them but we choked in the Music City Bowl and Citrus Bowl in recent years. Regardless I’ll be pulling for the Dawgs on Saturday.

I don’t think we should be 7-5 but we definitely did our best two lose those two games.

It's funny, they literally had a parade for beating Hawaii in the Sugar Bowl. But it no longer "matters" when y'all spanked them.
