ALABAMA.....2-5 (28.6%)
ARKANSAS...0-0
AUBURN......0-0
FLORIDA.....0-1 (00.0%)
GEORGIA....2-0 (1.000%)
KENTUCKY...0-0
LSU...……….5-7 (41.7%)
OLE MISS....1-1 (50.0%)
MISS.ST......0-0
MISSOURI....2-2 (50.0%)
SO CAR...….1-3 (25.0%)
TENNESSEE..4-4 (50.0%)
TEXAS A&M....2-3 (40.0%)
VANDY...…….0-3 (00.0%)

Notre Dame is 29-19 all-time vs. SEC.

UGA is 2-0 vs. the Irish. In both wins, UGA went on to the national championship game, winning one and narrowly losing the other in OT.

What does the future hold for the Dawgs if we beat them again this year? Hmmmm, I just hope we can hang with them. ND's really good.

Edit: have heard through the grapevine that UGA's expecting approximately 20,000 ND fans at the game. Atlanta is a huge base for Notre Dame alumni (one of their largest alumni bases in the country), so it may be quite accurate. The University is rolling out the red carpet for all ND fans, so I've read.

North Dakota is traditionally very good.

Our loss doesn't count since it was a meaningless Sugar Bowl.

that must surely mean that UGA is the best team in the SEC, 1980 notwithstanding

Any UGA fan who thinks that the Sugar Bowl is meaningless is a moron. However, it was an absolutely lethargic performance by the Dawgs and Texas capitalized on it.

One of those wins was a meaningless bowl game for ND though.

LSU should be 7-5 against them but we choked in the Music City Bowl and Citrus Bowl in recent years. Regardless I’ll be pulling for the Dawgs on Saturday.

Never used the word, "meaningless". However, it was meaningless to Texas (witness LSU loss and the Cows ain't back either) and meaningful to us because our players have hopefully learned a lesson from it.

Wrong, Korin...not for ND. OU is the team that shouldn't have been in the playoff.

Talking about when y'all played them in the Sugar Bowl. It was meaningless for them.

We may only be 2-5 against them, but the arse destruction we laid on them in 2012 ought to count for about five wins all by itself.

Georgia Tech was in the SEC and think played the Irish 20 times at least

Tulane played Notre Dame about 1/2 dozen time when they were in the SEC but I don't think they wo a game

I don't remember Sewanee ever playing the Irish

No, it was very much meaningful for ND. It was Dan Devine's last season and they wanted badly to go out with a win for him. Secondly, they had the chance to finish with 10 wins that season. Third, they'd only given up 128 points that year and they wanted to shut Herschel Walker down (they didn't). Their defense came out with a nasty attitude for that game. They wanted to spoil UGA's undefeated season. They had all the motivation in the world to want to win that game.
