The fact LSU fans think this is Sankey and not the rest of the conference only highlights the amount of extreme delusion you guys have.
So your collective school reps have concluded that the SEC is more valuable without LSU?
Over some dick measuring?

You've spent several paragraphs explaining why the SEC won't expel LSU while acknowledging that it has the authority to do so. That was my point from the beginning.
You're also treating your predictions as established facts. You don't know how the presidents would vote, whether LSU would prevail in a lawsuit, or what damages it could recover. Throwing around multibillion-dollar figures doesn't make them credible.
And your divorce analogy actually supports my argument. The potential consequences of exercising a right don't eliminate that right.
Whether expulsion would be justified is a legitimate question. Whether the SEC has the authority to consider it is another. You keep arguing the former as though it disproves the latter.
And for all your certainty about what the SEC will never do, the fact remains that expulsion was serious enough to become part of this dispute in the first place.

And that's the problem and why you are going to be kicked out of the SEC.
LSU isn't going to be kicked out.
You just aren't smart enough to recognize the difference between trolls on this site pushing an argument for fun and actual validity of the claim.
Now, you are confused as to why it hasn't happened yet.
LSU fans are laughing at you.

Don’t kick them out…just fine them $100 million…..

And nobody has established that LSU is immune from consequences simply because it ultimately complied.
If LSU gets kicked out that's the exact argument they'll use to sue the SEC for every dollar possible. And they'd win.
Again, multiple teams have done what LSU has done to one degree or another. None have been threatened with expulsion. This is Sankey being butthurt. LSU's conduct is no different than what other schools have done. Multiple teams (including yours) played pro players in real games. No consequences.
This is all bullshite and I think you're looking for minor cracks that won't add up to anything.

THIS was the win. This was the way a smart person claims victory on an event, albeit a small meaningless one, and moves on without backing itself into a corner.
LSU certainly decided, under the aggression of the SEC, not to roster the players.

You keep declaring LSU would win a lawsuit as though that's already been decided. It hasn't. And claiming other schools did the same thing doesn't establish that the circumstances, governing rules, or legal obligations were identical.
If LSU believes the SEC has treated it differently, that's an argument it can make and would have to support with evidence. Calling Sankey butthurt isn't evidence.
The SEC's authority comes from its governing agreements, and any decision to expel a member would have to comply with those agreements and applicable law. The possibility of litigation doesn't eliminate that authority.
You may ultimately be right that LSU won't be expelled. But predicting an outcome and establishing a legal argument are two entirely different things.

No one disputes that. Even LSU stated it in the lawsuit that the SEC had the authority.

More fantasy. The SEC could close this case down at any moment but they don't appear to be doing so.

I made the point and still maintain it but everyone here decided to take it in a different direction. I can't control that.

Yes, the Georgia win in '22 gets an asterisk for playing the weakest opponent we've ever witnessed. I don't even count that one for Georgia.

The SEC is a voluntary organization.
If you want the law to define your standards rather than the SEC, that is your right. But you can't be a member of the SEC at the same time.
It's not complicated.

You're saying the SEC wants the authority to enforce its own rules, and also asserting that they should consider ejecting LSU for violating no rules.
So, do the rules matter or not? Rules go both ways, you can't give someone a set of rules and then punish them when no rules were broken.

What makes it complicated is that the SEC can't seem to define its own standards.

If LSU acts beyond the rules and standards of the SEC, then LSU is detrimental to the league.

The first action of the SEC was to clarify the rules on the topic.

Of course the rules go both ways. That's precisely why the SEC's governing agreements matter. You're treating your assertion that LSU violated no rules as an established legal conclusion. It isn't. Whether LSU's conduct provides grounds for disciplinary action is a question that must be evaluated under those agreements. The SEC's authority to enforce its rules and its obligation to follow those same rules are entirely consistent positions. One doesn't cancel out the other.

Have we not already arrived at the fact that LSU has been detrimental to the SEC? I mean, look at the lawsuit.

The SEC filed the lawsui and LSU is contesting its claims and seeking dismissal. That's what challenging the SEC's position in court means.
Yes. LSU asserted its rights in the court of law that the SEC chose to handle the dispute.
That you think that is grounds (legal or logically) to expel LSU, you are a literal retard.
