You wanted this league. You got it. You won’t make the CFP every year here. Probably once or twice a decade after NIL and parity sets in. You are very likely to lose three games in a season. If you don’t like that you should go independent.

Cute rant. Texas plays the same OOC as 90% of the sec and they are in at 10-2. Has nothing to do with being in the sec

If parity is here then prove it. Make teams like byu, Vandy, Indiana, tech, etc actually schedule a decent OOC matchup. Until then the CFP committee just have a huge middle finger to OOC matchups.
Happy to focus on the 9 game sec schedule and if we go 7-2 we are in every year.

College basketball committee is vastly superior but took them a lot of trial and error to get there.
I completely agree that what sets the basketball committee apart now is that it looks at Quality Wins first and foremost.
That's why you have so many great OOC basketball matchups now.
Stupid that the football committee can't learn from that example but on par with having supersized conferences that make sense to no one but bankers.

The committee chair was asked this tonight during the playoff show. He clearly said that if Bama loses all bets are off the table. They will reevaluate their position after the conference championship games.
My guess is how does Bama look against UGA if they do end up losing. That will determine part of it.
In the end, I think all SEC fans have to pull for Texas Tech.
