A&M and utep have played each other once in football and it was not pretty.
A&M won by a score of 57-7. Johnny Football made them look pretty silly. Their band was pretty good though.
El Paso is closer to LA (800 miles) than it is to Atlanta (1400 miles). Not Really what you would call "Southeastern"

The reality is, that’s a VERY lopsided trade!
Conference USA would never accept a trade to acquire a perennial loser of a program in all sports since Hitler died, for one with a Natty in a major men’s sport in that span.

Went to a Sun Bowl back in the day, LSU vs Stanford. Hell of a good time, Christmas day at noon kickoff. Don't remember much
