It just doesn’t make any sense to me. I have a great respect for all of the other schools in the sec I love playing these teams every year. I just can’t wrap my head around this

Let me help you.

LSU is not bigger than the SEC.

Get in line and follow the rules.

Stop encouraging lawsuits against the conference for your benefit.

Suspend your coach for a season for such behavior or for at least three games.

It’s way out of line. And unacceptable.

Why the year 2000? Is that when the SEC started?

Let them. LSU will still exist, the sec not so much. Lawsuit after lawsuit would be filed against the sec. From players, coaches, fans, vendors, etc anyone who would lose any money in any way!

This is the SEC telling the NCAA and the courts that the governor of Louisiana has final oversight over the LSU football program - not the AD or University president.

What exactly would be the tort in these lawsuits?

LSU never encouraged anybody to bring lawsuits against the SEC, nor was LSU involved in the lawsuits. You cannot prove otherwise in court and if the SEC truly had evidence it would already be out. Again, what rule violation? They arent rostered. No rule has been violated.

Are you suggesting a turn of the century is an arbitrary number? Or that the last 25 years is an arbitrary number?

Are you retarded?

Did college football make a drastic change at the turn of the century?

So dumb. The OPs point was valid.

Your need to argue everything forced you to argue that him making a point about the last 25 years was arbitrary.

It’s dumb. Really dumb.

I'm fairly certain sporrs historians mark the turn of the century in many of their comparisons. So and so was the greatest player of 19th century baseball, or, the greatest teams of the 20th Century, etc.

Think about what you're asking. All the money that has been spent, ticket sales, nil deals, coaches salaries, vendors, every single person, or company that would lose money would sue the sec.

And yet there’s evidence of something somewhere that has spurred 15 SEC presidents and administrators to line up with the conference president all ready to gather around a mafia-like table in less than 48 to cast votes to retain or expel a founding member of this conference. This shite is mind blowing.
