I don’t think anyone can give you an unequivocal answer to your question, but I can try to provide some evidence.
Our program is stronger now than it was when we were in the B12—certainly more battle tested (iron sharpens iron and whatnot). We’ve also recruited better than we did in the B12, raised substantially more capital from our donors, and improved our facilities. In short, every aspect of our program has improved .. even seemingly inconsequential variables such as licensing, TV exposure, and game day elements like tailgating.
We’re not where we want to be; no honest Ag will tell you otherwise. But when you’re going up against the best programs in cfb it takes time to overhaul the previously existing infrastructure. We’re working on it.

Dude I watched Bama torch one of the best defenses Kirby ever had as a head coach or DC in 2021. Bama completely torched that defense in the SECCG game that year and they lost Metchie in that game doing it. Then they play in the Natty and Williams goes down. At that point Bama was done because they had no other way of threatening that defense. So playing SEC teams week in and week out is hard and physical. You can lose titles because of the roster getting thinned out.
Hole.Lee.shite. This is amazing. Two non-contact knee injuries were caused by playing SEC teams week in an week out. You've taken the SECSECSEC propaganda to an all new level with that take.

Well....show us that, Sparky. I've never seen it. Lets see it.
I live still live in Oklahoma and nobody thinks OU is going to go in and toss aside the top of the heap teams in the SEC.
As is the whole thread topic. OU fans don't think the middle section of the SEC is going to be a huge issue for them. SEC fan begs to differ. They think the Ole Miss/State/Kentucky/USC type teams are equal to OU and/or will BE the equal of OU after OU plays the top of the SEC teams.
As I have said before. After next season, both sides will claim they are vindicated.

No not really. I don't see any data that says the SEC has bigger, faster players. More next-level talent? Sure. That doesn't equate to more injuries. If you think it does, show me that data.
if you don't think facing more players that make the NFL isn't more physically demanding than a team playing in a conference that doesn't there is something wrong with you

Lol y'all are the ones asking to be worshipped, not Texas and OU. Don't be mad because facts refute your delusions
Now how many Big 12 teams have played in the playoffs and how many NC have the Big 12 won? Compare that to the SEC.
How many Big 12 teams have played in bowls and won? Compare that to the SEC.
How many Big 12 teams have beaten an SEC team in the playoffs or NC game? Compare that to the SEC.
How many times has OU or Texas beaten an SEC team in a NC game in the history of college football?

Where does this narrative come from?
Every SEC team except for Vanderbilt is Top 32 in talent composite.
The only Big 12 team this season other than Texas and Oklahoma inside the top 32 is TCU at 19.

So much for assimilating into a new conference...

Ole Miss hasn't really played OU or Texas much in that period of time (they are 2-1 against those teams)
Ole Miss is gonna pop you in your slack jaw next year in Oxford. That will be your wake up call. @Ole Miss @Auburn in Jordan Hare @LSU in Death Valley
You have no idea what a hostile environment looks like. Only used to playing cupcake teams in half filled 50k seat stadiums.

Johnny Manziel certainly helped.

If OU and Texas have this attitude come September you guys should expect a long season next year. The fastest way to have a losing season in the SEC is to disrespect the level of competition you are facing every week and have the attitude that you can just roll out those Texas or OU helmets and people are gonna piss down their legs before they put a beat down on someone. The logo on the side of the helmet doesn’t win you games in the SEC. If anything the bigger the logo the more it makes teams wanna kick your arse.

Stadium size does not equal decibel level. EX: Seahawks 69,000 seats (16th largest NFL stadium) Second loudest NFL stadium according to highest decibel level reached.

Damn. Too bad Texas couldn't have played Bama this year. They would've been EMBARRASSED!
Texas's claim to fame for this year is "We beat the NC winner"
Enjoy it......

Bro they play at home in front of their own hostile crowd that yells really loud while their own offense is on the field.
I’ll wait for the “we beat Bama at Bama this year” response.

nope they are saying those teams will wear you down and possibly win more games against you than the teams in the middle of the Big 12.

Every SEC stadium (besides Vandy) is bigger than any Big12 stadium Texas and OU played in.
