The SEC does not need/want a Saban/Bama decline.

Be very careful what you wish for.
I may be a HUGE LSU fan and hate experiencing 40+ years of what Bama has done to us. Absolutely HATE it! But, there is only one reason why you see 3 of the top 5 teams ranked in the CFP from the SEC. The body of work Saban has done since being at Alabama. I pray to God he doesn't miss a beat. Saban raised the bar and finally Auburn, Georgia, Florida and LSU have responded What has really happened is teams in the SEC have gained enough ground to be close and/or equal to Bama. That's the real story. That, in itself, makes me truly happy to be an LSU Tiger. Beating Bama may feel Fantastic. But, knowing we will play Bama every year without one hand tied behind our back praying for a miracle, is what any true LSU fan really wants.

Saban is done. Bama losing too much to the draft this year to be serious contenders next year.

It’s hilarious how you put Bama up on this pedestal. LSU and Florida were powerhouses from 2000-2010. The SEC was strong before Bama dominance.

SEC needs to have at least 2 contending programs competing for the NC every year. By no means is necessary that Alabama is one of them.
For people in the Northeast or West Coast it’s exactly the same shite. That’s where the biggest TV audiences are.

One team dominating has ruined things and cost a lot of coaches their job.
We don’t need one school taking all the 5-star players regardless of their state. It ruins the sport.

you must be a child. From 1998-2008, three different SEC teams won 5 national championships - none of which were Alabama.
From 1998-2010, 5 different SEC teams won 7 national championships, only one of which was won by Alabama.
