Good luck to all y’all who have teams advancing to the NCAAs!
I’ve repeatedly said that I’m envious as heck of schools/fans who get to experience March Madness on the reg; hopefully A&M is making moves that will soon earn us some hoops respectability as well.
With each day it’s looking more like AD Scott Woodward has his sights set on Williams.
Time will tell if there’s any fire behind all o’ this smoke.

Williams, 46, is a Greenville, Texas native and former A&M assistant under Billy Gillispie from 2004-06.

According to Evan Daniels, Williams, who currently coaches at Virginia Tech, is the “strong favorite” to replace Billy Kennedy after he was fired.
This would be a great get for the Aggies if they’re able to steal Buzz Williams away from the Hokies. He’s been successful wherever he’s gone.

Would be good hire. Not sure about his recruiting but having the state Texas to recruit would make it easier. He is a hell of a X and O guy.

Damn good, especially for the Hokies. He will take them to their 3rd straight NCAAT this year. As a program they only had 8 all time before Buzz. He’s done this in the ACC which is arguably the best conference in the country.

He would be an excellent hire. He gets the most out of his players. Before Pearl became a possibility he is who I was hoping Auburn could land. If memory serves me the one knock was he was a little over reliant on juco but if he wins I guess that doesn't really matter.
